Tod M. Wilson, 64, of Kingsport passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014, in the Indian Path Medical Center. Mr. Wilson was born on October 18, 1950 in Salem, Ohio the son of the late Benjamin F. Wilson and Eleanor May Wilson. He was retired from Holston Valley Medical Center as a Radiation Therapist and was a member of the Indian Springs Christian Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. During his time of service he received the following decorations and citations; National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star, 2O/S Bars and the MM/M-16. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Strong.

Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Patti Wilson; two sons, Jeremy Tod Wilson and wife Andrea, of Knoxville, TN and Ryan James Wilson and wife Amanda, of Kingsport, TN; two daughters, Alexa Jo Edwards and husband Stan, of Blountville, TN and Molly Arlene Smith and husband Adam Fayne Smith, of Kingsport, TN; eight precious grandchildren, Zachary Edwards, Mabree Wilson, Colton Wilson, Vivian Edwards, Matthew Edwards, McKenna Smith, Leah Jo Edwards and Trenton Fayne Smith; two brothers, Wayne Wilson and wife Kathy, of Columbiana, OH and Rod Wilson and wife Susan, of Salem, OH; one sister, Arlene Sinclair, of Phoenix, AZ; brother-in-laws, Wayne Strong, of Lisbon, OH and Donald, Robert, David and John Ranc; and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Indian Springs Christian Church, 5536 Kiowa Street, Kingsport, TN. A Memorial Service for Mr. Tod M. Wilson will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 7:00pm at the Indian Springs Christian Church with Pastor Mike Beverly officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the American Legion Hammond Post #3 and Gate City Post #265. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL., 32256.
